Prepare to be bowled over: here are 15 things you may not know about toilet paper
Here at the Property & Building Directory, as well as at our sister site the Home Interiors Directory, we spend a fair bit of our time looking at bathrooms – after all, it’s often one of the rooms in the home that can most benefit from some TLC, a good clean, and some judicious accessorising.
While we have been known to get into discussions about topics like damp and mould in bathrooms, you’ll forgive us for generally steering clear of what actually goes down the loo. However, when we spotted this fascinating toilet paper-themed infographic from our friends at QS Supplies we just had to share it with you.
For example, who knew that there was a National Toilet Paper Day (in 26 August, in case you want to add it to your diary), or that the average person gets through nearly 42 rolls of loo paper a year? All of a sudden, investing in a designer toilet brush starts to sound like a good idea.
Anyway, read on to find out everything there is to know about the humble toilet roll, and let us know what you think (and whether you hang your paper “the right way”).
